Once a deposit or balance is paid in by a guest, you will receive your payments via MPESA minus the commission within 2-12 hours. No need to worry about monthly bills, pay commissions stress free.
Bookings are confirmed when guests pay a deposit of 50% of the total cost of stay. Vamos notifies you immediately a booking is made and makes a deposit to you via MPESA. The balance is cleared 2 days before arrival and it is paid to the host 3-48 Hours before guests Check-in. All payments are made via MPESA.
Upon confirmation of a booking, you will receive a deposit of between 30-50% of the total booking cost. The balance is paid 3-48 hours before the guests check in. All payments are made via MPESA.
In the case of the guest cancelling a reservation, the particular listing’s cancellation policy applies or as may be agreed by the host.
If refunds are applicable, the Vamos Homes reservations team will work with the host to ensure refunds get to the guests. All refunds are done via MPESA, within 7 days after cancellation.
Yes you can. We understand you may have already listed on other platforms. You can easily sync your calendars using the ical feature available on your calendar section, found on your host dashboard menu.
We advise that hosts contact us immediately they notice damages or loss of items in their homes. These are the measures we have put in place:

We have made a provision for the taxes section, visible when you are setting prices. You are responsible for paying the applicable taxes to the Government of Kenya.
Cancellations by the host can be made in the Host’s ‘Reservations’ section available on the Host’s dashboard.
The host Must Refund 100% of the deposit paid to him/her, before the cancellation is effected.
Hosts are not allowed to cancel 48 Hours before check in time. We highly discourage cancellations by hosts as they cause immense inconveniences to the guests.
To give your property more visibility on the ‘Featured Section’, click on the “Upgrade to Featured” button under the listings’ details section. Our team will review and respond within 24 hours. We are currently not charging for this service, admission is strictly by merit. Currently, all the latest listings are automatically featured in this section.
You can contact your guests before, during and after reservation using our internal messaging system available within your account menu.
In some instances, the guest may be in touch with our reservations team. We are happy to handle some of the basic inquiries on your behalf if you have listed all the necessary information.
For your safety, we encourage you never to share your contact details with guests before a booking is confirmed.
